Housing Officer (Complex Case Team)
Base pay: £35,500 per annum including car allowance.
Location: Bedford.
Employment type: Permanent Full time (37 hours per week).
We are looking for a self‑motivated individual, preferably with Housing Management experience, to manage safeguarding and complex anti‑social behaviour (ASB) cases, ensuring a strong customer focus at all times.
Responsibilities
- Managing all safeguarding and complex ASB cases for the Home Team, ensuring legislation is followed and focusing on long‑term solutions.
- Managing cases where a greater focus or intervention is required.
- Working alongside generic Housing Officers to ensure comprehensive, consistent services for our customers.
- Working closely with internal and external partners to provide a seamless and holistic offering.
- Ensuring tenancies are managed appropriately, making referrals and signposting for support as necessary.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills, putting the customer at the heart of what we do.
- Good problem‑solving, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Experience working in partnership with internal teams and external organisations to achieve shared goals.
