Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference? bpha is seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team, supporting back-office service delivery and ensuring our financial operations, in respect of Accounts Payable run smoothly.
About the Role
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of the purchase ledger for bpha and its subsidiaries. You’ll ensure invoices are paid accurately and on time, complete bank account reconciliations, and process regular payment runs. You’ll also maintain accurate creditor bank account information, complete monthly reconciliations, and handle urgent payments efficiently.
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be:
- Processing purchase ledger transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Completing bank account reconciliations
- Managing payment runs and ensuring compliance with financial procedures
- Reviewing and processing utility bills for void properties and communal supplies
- Resolving queries from internal and external customers / suppliers
- Complying with processes and controls, escalating issues as needed
