An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a B-Corp business with a highly regarded premium brand. The trajectory is very much upward with both the UK as well as international focus for investment and growth.
To drive this growth, our client is seeking an established Head of Grocery with a clear pathway to Sales Director.
As Head of Grocery, you’ll have full ownership of the grocery P&L, leading commercial strategy across the UK multiples, driving profitable volume & revenue in a highly competitive market.
To be credible and successful, you must be able to demonstrate a track record of leading direct teams & cross functional stakeholders, as well as possess both strategic as well as operational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the UK multiple grocer channel
- Lead commercial negotiations and take full ownership of the grocery P&L
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and sales performance
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance and category teams to align business objectives
- Identify new opportunities for growth and product expansion
- Lead a team, fostering a high-performance culture
What We're Looking For:
- Extensive experience in grocery retail, combined with evidence of commercial success
- P&L management and strategic planning
- Leadership & people skills, with the ability to guide, inspire, and influence across the business
- Hands-on approach and a forward-thinking mindset
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Experience/appreciation for premium brands, preferably in the food/beverage categories.
