BPD is a London-based graphic design studio working across identity, packaging, exhibition, digital and book design projects.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic studio manager to join our growing studio based in Hackney Downs in East London. Working directly with the founder, design team and BPD clients, tasks will include day-to-day studio and client operations for items such as scheduling, production, resourcing, research and finances.
Our ideal candidate would ideally have 1-2 years creative studio admin experience. We are a small studio and as such are interested to hear from people who are keen to learn and develop their skills as the studio grows, enjoy working in a small team and directly with clients.
- Responsible for studio operations & admin including team scheduling, holidays, client and team events
- Supporting designers on various project deliveries – putting together print production quotes; organising deliveries; invoicing
- Supporting the founder and team with sales and new business for the studio
- Researching production requirements for projects
- Taking meeting notes for internal & client meetings
- Running weekly studio meetings
- Assist in studio finance, accounting & payroll
- Managing of studio resourcing against project timings
- Maintaining and managing the studio calendar
- Assisting with onboarding of new studio team members
- Assisting with managing job applications
- Submitting studio work for various awards
Location, hours and salary: Studio-based, 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday, at our studio in Hackney Downs. Close to Clapton, Rectory Road and Hackney Downs overground stations. Salary of £32,000 per annum, full time contract.
