As a Toolmaker / Tool & Die Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and manufacturing tooling used in the production of high-quality metal components. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role requiring strong technical expertise and problem-solving ability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Use hand tools, CNC machinery, and precision measuring equipment
- Manufacture, assemble, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures
- Carry out preventative maintenance and complex fault diagnosis
- Maintain mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and process control systems
- Identify and implement improvements to processes, efficiency, and quality
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a toolmaking or tool maintenance role within manufacturing
- Proactive problem-solver with a quality-focused mindset
- Ability to read technical drawings and work with precision engineering equipment
- Experience with CNC machining, milling, grinding, or similar
- Level 2 & Level 3 Diplomas in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Toolmaking / Tool & Die Maintenance)
- HNC / HND in Engineering (preferred)
