Field Engineer
What will you be doing?
As a Field Engineer, you will undertake the on-site supervision of projects, studies and engineering work on oil and gas projects and associated facilities. This includes liaising with project teams and clients, travelling across multiple sites across the length of our pipeline, including regular nights away from home. The ideal candidate would be located within 20 miles of Northampton, however anyone in the stretch from Hemel Hempstead to Birmingham would be considered.
The role will primarily supervise site engineering construction in accordance with relevant company, client, national and international standards. The Field Engineer will ensure that good and safe engineering practices are maintained in accordance with BPA HSEQ safety procedures, and ensure that all construction works are carried out in accordance with procedures. The Field Engineer will also represent the Engineering Department at site level and liaise with the construction contractor and site operator / owner as applicable.
What do we need from you?
- Experience in the management and supervision of construction works at site level.
- Knowledgeable in site safe working practices and applicable legislation.
- Knowledgeable in construction standards.
- Computer literate in normal office software applications.
- Clean Valid UK driving licence
- Engineering HNC or equivalent qualification
- Ability and commitment to obtain NEBOSH Construction Certificate within 18 months of appointment

Salary
Basic salary £42,000-£47,000 DOE & company car or cash allowance
