Vehicle Body Builder - BP Rolls Hull Evening Shift - 16:00-Midnight, Mon-Fri

BP Rolls Hull is part of the BP Rolls Group, one of the UK’s largest independent commercial vehicle repair, painting, and body‑building businesses, trusted by national brands to keep their fleets on the road.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair & maintenance of commercial vehicle bodies and panels, ensuring all work is delivered to high‑quality standards in line with BP Rolls’ operational procedures and customer expectations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a more flexible work pattern to contribute to a growing, and very productive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Body Construction & Fabrication: Fabricate, assemble and install commercial vehicle body structures.
  • Panel Repair & Replacement: Remove and repair/replace damaged panels as required.
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Check all work against quality standards and job requirements, ensuring all vehicle builds meet DVSA and industry safety regulations and are completed within specified timescales without compromising quality.
  • Workshop Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area, complying with all health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Previous panel & body‑building knowledge (commercial vehicles an advantage). Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. Self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving skills. Strong team ethic, whilst capable of working independently and professionally. Able to work Evening shifts Monday – Friday 16:00 – Midnight.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in vehicle panel building, coachbuilding or fabrication.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
