We are recruiting for a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator to join our skilled team in Newport. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with an excellent track record to join our expanding business.

You will play a key role in the vehicle repair process — assessing damage, preparing precise repair estimates, liaising with insurers and customers, and ensuring every repair meets BP Rolls' high standards of quality, service and timescale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out thorough vehicle damage assessments using Audatex and other estimating systems, maintaining systems throughout for complete traceability.
  • Prepare detailed and professional repair estimates in line with industry regulations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, insurers, and internal colleagues.
  • Oversee repairs from start to completion, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to specification.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, repair methods, and procedures.
  • Support junior estimators and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and service delivery across the Depot.
About You
  • Demonstrable track record as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator, ideally within a high-quality, high-volume accident repair environment.
  • ATA VDA accreditation required.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a professional and methodical approach.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Confident with Audatex, estimating software, and modern Bodyshop systems.
  • High standards of work ethic with a commitment to upholding the BP Rolls reputation for excellence.
