Due to our growth in support and store coverage, our Hull Depot requires an additional TWO Mobile Technicians, one will work permanent days and one will work permanent nights. All of our technicians work on a rotational 4 on 4 off shift basis.

BP Rolls’ Commercial Fleet Management team provides on-site technical support for maintenance and servicing of Home Shopping clients (Supermarkets) with large fleets and LCV’s. We are committed to minimise VOR (vehicle off road) and reduce vehicle downtime.

The position will work alongside our team of existing Mobile Vehicle Technicians working across the wider area. You will be provided with a fully fitted BP Rolls support vehicle to undertake your role and have support from our Hull Depot as well as our Fleet operations team.

Requirements:
  • Our Mobile Technicians liaise closely with our in house 24-hour operations team as well as our Nationally located 5 Depots for technical & parts support.
  • These are both permanent, full-time positions.
  • You must hold minimum Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician certification (body/electrical/mechanical) and be able to demonstrate your knowledge and practical capability.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of post qualified technician experience.
  • Some specific training will be provided as part of the induction.
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a can-do attitude are essential.
  • Professional & skilled workmanship with the ability to problem solve independently & efficiently.
  • Clean driving licence, no driving convictions.
  • This is a customer facing role therefore experienced Customer service skills are needed along with the ability to problem solve to seek resolution on occasion.
  • Already located within a 30 minute radius territory of Hull, with legal Right to Work status already held.

Uniform/overalls, PPE and a fully fitted BP Rolls support vehicle provided. Salary of c. £40k (depending on experience and shift basis) plus a productive bonus ££OTE £50-£60k.
