BP Rolls Hull is seeking an experienced and driven Bodyshop Manager to lead our automotive & commercial fleet repair and refinishing operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Vehicle Repair Bodyshop environments and estimating, who can combine technical expertise with leadership skills to deliver high-quality repairs, excellent customer service, and efficient workshop performance across all team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Bodyshop, ensuring workflow efficiency and productivity targets are met
  • Manage and support a team of technicians & painters
  • Produce accurate and timely repair estimates using industry-standard systems
  • Monitor job progress from estimate through to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are achieved
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, insurers, and suppliers
  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards
  • Control costs, manage budgets, and maximise profitability
  • Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an automotive Bodyshop environment
  • Previous experience in estimating (e.g., Audatex or similar systems)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Good commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets
  • Knowledge of repair techniques, paint processes, and insurance procedures
  • ATA accreditation (preferred but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
