BP Rolls Group is one of the UK’s largest privately-owned vehicle repair groups, with 60 years of experience in commercial vehicle accident repair, bodywork, and painting.
Due to an increase in demand and to support our commitment to national clients, we are expanding our Commercial Paint unit. We therefore seek an experienced Vehicle Painter to join our team, working Monday – Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting a variety of vehicles to an exceptional standard and a passion for quality and craftsmanship. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work on high‑profile fleets and commercial vehicles in a professional, well‑established environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare commercial vehicles for paintwork including sanding, masking, degreasing, and priming.
- Mix and apply paint coatings using a variety of spray equipment.
- Achieve a high‑quality finish in line with BP Rolls’ standards and customer specifications.
- Carry out panel preparation and minor filler work where required.
- Work with various paint systems and commercial refinishing brands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the paint booth and work area.
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance and ensure defects are rectified.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental protocols across the Andover site.
Requirements:
- Min 3 years previous experience in vehicle painting to a high‑quality finish.
- Skilled in using professional spray equipment and paint systems.
- Ability to carry out high‑quality masking, priming, and finishing.
- Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining standards.
- Mature, professionally focused and able to work independently as required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across team shifts.
- Formal qualification in vehicle refinishing or bodywork (ATA/NVQ/IMI Level 2 or 3).
- Working at heights is occasionally required due to the nature of the vehicles.
