We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled MET Vehicle Technician to join our growing team in our Carshop in Andover, Hampshire.
Location: Andover OTE upwards of £45k per year.
Role OverviewThis role is ideal for a hands‑on professional with extensive experience in the repair, removal, and refitting of mechanical, electrical, and trim components on vehicles. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are restored to manufacturer and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out removal and refitting of mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) components on a variety of private vehicles.
- Diagnose faults and assess vehicle damage accurately.
- Perform repairs in line with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Work closely with panel beaters and technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets safety and compliance requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
- Proven experience as an MET Technician or similar role.
- Strong hands‑on experience working with commercial/heavy goods vehicles.
- Solid understanding of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential).
- Competitive salary (based on experience) alongside a productive bonus – OTE in excess of £45k per year.
