BP Rolls Group is growing, and we’re looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our expanding team in Andover, Hampshire.
Working on behalf of some of the UK’s largest and best-known national organisations, you’ll play a vital role in moving commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across the country, and locally. Our clients include major UK supermarket networks and Royal Mail, meaning every journey you make contributes to keeping essential national services moving.
With a 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern and 12-hour shifts, this role offers a structured working pattern alongside the opportunity to work within a fast-paced and continually expanding logistics operation.
The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe and professional movement of commercial vehicles on behalf of BP Rolls Group and our national clients.
You’ll be trusted to represent both BP Rolls Group and our customers, delivering a high standard of professionalism every time you get behind the wheel.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Moving commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on behalf of major national clients.
- Completing journeys in accordance with agreed schedules and operational requirements.
- Carrying out appropriate vehicle checks and reporting defects or issues.
- Ensuring vehicles are handled safely and responsibly throughout each assignment.
- Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation.
- Complying fully with drivers’ hours, working time and road transport legislation.
- Maintaining excellent communication with the transport team, customers and colleagues.
- Representing BP Rolls Group professionally at all times.
- Working collaboratively as part of a dynamic and growing logistics operation.
We’re looking for experienced, professional HGV Class 1 drivers who take pride in their work and understand the importance of reliability, safety and customer service.
You will demonstrate:
- A valid and clean HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience.
- A strong understanding of drivers’ hours and transport legislation.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- A reliable and responsible attitude.
- The ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
- A flexible, positive and can-do attitude.
