This is a role within the Castrol organisation and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence. If you are part of the ring-fence, it is expected that your employment will move with Castrol to new ownership.
The Procurement Support role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the procurement function. Supporting the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, you will provide administrative, coordination, and customer management support that enables the procurement team to focus on strategic and value-adding activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment, enjoys working with multiple customers, and has exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Supplier & Partner Management
- Support the development and implementation of supplier relationship management strategies.
- Act as the primary coordination point for supplier engagements, ensuring all logistical and administrative requirements are managed effectively.
- Maintain supplier databases and contact records, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with supplier administrative teams and key collaborators.
- Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external procurement-related enquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Procurement & Business Support
- Conduct business requirements analysis to support procurement initiatives and projects.
- Support sourcing and negotiation activities by gathering supplier information, market intelligence, and relevant data.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement reports, presentations, and communications.
- Support governance and documentation processes, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and maintained in line with business requirements.
- Administrative & Team Support
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Procurement Leadership Team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and expense processing.
- Organize supplier meetings, workshops, team events, and customer engagement activities.
- Prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, track actions, and follow up on deliverables.
- Maintain team collaboration platforms, documentation repositories, and communication channels.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify potential issues, risks, and process improvement opportunities, calling out where appropriate.
- Contribute ideas and innovative solutions to improve team effectiveness and supplier engagement.
- Adapt to changing priorities and evolving business requirements.

- Essential Qualifications
- Diploma qualification in Business Administration or a related rigor preferred.
- Essential Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordinator, executive support, procurement support, or team support role within a dynamic environment.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, travel arrangements, and participant communications.
- Experience building effective relationships with internal collaborators and external suppliers.
- Experience supporting multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
