## UK Acquisition Support ManagerApply: This position is a hybrid of office/remote working: United Kingdom - Milton Keynes: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: October 14, 2026 (13 days left to apply): RQ116454**Job Family Group:**Retail Group**Job Description:**## Role PurposeThe UK Acquisitions Support Manager supports the development as well as delivery of the Network Strategy, helping drive the growth and optimisation of the UK retail network. The role combines network planning, acquisition support, commercial analysis, stakeholder management, and performance tracking to ensure investment decisions strengthen and future-proof the portfolio. ## Key Responsibilities* Support the development and annual refresh of the UK Network Strategy.* Produce business cases and Decision Support Packs (DSPs) for new acquisition and network investment opportunities.* Own forecasting and analysis of fuel volumes, shop sales, and EV charging performance for acquisition projects.* Handle location planning tools, databases, and GIS analysis to support network decisions.* Build strong relationships with Operations, Dealer Sales, bp Pulse, M&S, and other key partners.* Act as the primary contact for M&S Property, supporting approval processes for new opportunities.* Assess Dealer-Owned (DO) opportunities and ensure alignment with the wider network strategy.* Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and new developments to identify growth opportunities.* Lead post-investment reviews and track performance against approved forecasts.* Conduct regular site visits to validate assumptions and strengthen market understanding. ## Essential Requirements* Degree or equivalent experience in Geography or a related subject area.* Strong understanding of UK geography, demographics, and road networks.* Experience in location planning, network strategy, acquisitions, or property analysis.* Advanced analytical skills, including GIS/ArcGIS Pro.* Strong commercial competence and experience developing investment cases.* Ability to use data and insights to drive business decisions. ## Preferred Experience* Knowledge of the convenience, fuel, and forecourt sectors in the UK.* Understanding of EV infrastructure and energy transition trends.* Experience working in large, complex organisations.* Exposure to senior leadership forums and investment committees.* Track record of supporting successful network growth strategies. **Why join us?**At bp, we support our people to grow in a diverse and exciting environment.
