About the Role:

Investor Relations plays a key role in building and maintaining bp's relationships with investors, shareholders and the wider financial community. As an Investor Relations Coordinator, you will provide essential support to a highly visible team, helping to coordinate investor meetings, roadshows and events, while ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, proactive and enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders. You'll support senior Investor Relations leaders, manage logistics, maintain investor data and CRM systems, and contribute to the preparation of briefing materials that support engagement with the market. Working within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you'll gain exposure to senior leaders and play an important role in helping the team deliver a seamless experience for investors and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate investor roadshows across the UK, Europe and Rest of World regions.
  • Liaise with investors, brokers and internal stakeholders to arrange meetings and manage logistics.
  • Support the planning and delivery of investor events, conferences and virtual meetings.
  • Coordinate meeting arrangements, room bookings, catering, security and technology requirements.
  • Anticipate potential issues and proactively resolve logistical challenges to ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain investor engagement schedules and activity trackers.

Team & Administrative Support:

  • Provide diary and calendar management support to the Investor Relations team.
  • Arrange travel, process expenses and coordinate meetings.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the team, including monitoring shared inboxes and handling ad hoc requests.
  • Build strong relationships with partners across bp and external organisations.

Data, Reporting & Briefing Support:

  • Maintain investor databases and CRM systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Support shareholder analysis and investor targeting activities.
  • Prepare, update and maintain briefing materials for senior partners.
  • Assist in developing clear, accurate and professional briefing content for investor meetings and engagements.
  • Support reporting activities, process improvements and workflow enhancements.
  • Generate insights and analysis from investor engagement data where appropriate.

Quarterly Results & Special Projects:

  • Provide support during bp's quarterly results process.
  • Assist with internal Investor Relations events and outreach activities.
  • Contribute to special projects and other activities across the Investor Relations function.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous administrative, coordination or team support experience within a corporate, professional services, financial services or similar environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused attitude.
  • Strong partner management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems or other data management tools.
  • Confidence working independently while also being an effective team player.

It would be beneficial if you also have:

  • Experience within Investor Relations, financial services, banking or capital markets.
  • Exposure to investor engagement activities, roadshows or stakeholder events.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Nasdaq IR Insight, Concur, Egencia, Microsoft Teams or SharePoint.
