Role Overview:
- Working as part of a team to develop, implement and test technology solutions (IIoT & Sensors / Telemetry / Robotics):
- Understand business requirements and value opportunity
- Design and document quality assurance test cycles
- Developing end to end technology solutions to deliver specific outcomes
- Prepare and support field test activities
- Run and document the output of test cycles, fixes and upgrades
- Integration of compliant technology solutions with total site infrastructure
Role requirements:
- Translate business needs into technology requirements
- Support on vendor technology reviews and make recommendations to the appropriate design authority
- Support definitions of solution architectures and ensure compliance throughout project implementation
- Advise on emerging IoT and Robotics trends / technologies, physical and digital.
- Working as part of a team to deploy products to operational sites and assist with ongoing development.
- Work with vendors. Providing feedback on issues and suggesting development opportunities
- Install and test software from OS through to application
- Develop and deploy methods for testing automation
- End to End Data validation, from Field Device to Cloud
- Design and document quality assurance process
- Remote support for field installations and operations
- Create / adapt online dashboards for data display
Experience Required:
- Field Experience (in Industrial sites)
- High level of knowledge and experience with automation
- Exposure to robot programming
- Experience with operating systems applicable to role (Robot Operating System (ROS), Linux and / or other embedded OS)
- Systems, Integration & Test experience
- Exposure to both hardware and software and embedded solutions for applicable role
- Networking (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Cellular)
- Field Testing, PoC deployment
- Factory Acceptance testing (FAT) / Site acceptance testing (SAT) experience
- Systems Integration
- Sensor configuration, end to end device remote maintenance and upgrading, Data processing including computer vision and AI/ML
- Familiarity with Intellectual Asset Management and commercial models for new technology.
