Castrol is looking for a strategic and commercially focused Senior Manager, Marketing Insights & Effectiveness to lead global marketing performance, analytics and insight across the business. This role will shape how marketing is measured and optimised, helping connect marketing investment to commercial and customer outcomes across numerous global markets.

Leading a specialist team and working closely with the Marketing Hub, you will drive the development of frameworks, tools and reporting that improve decision-making, campaign performance and Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI). The role plays a key part in supporting Castrol's evolving global marketing model, helping drive greater accountability, optimisation and performance visibility across international markets.

You will also lead the global Insights agenda, delivering research and analysis that supports brand strategy, innovation and business growth.

  • Lead Castrol's global approach to marketing planning, performance, effectiveness and insight.
  • Develop frameworks and shared KPIs to measure marketing impact, including ROMI and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
  • Lead the application of Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and econometric analysis to optimise marketing investment, channel performance and ROMI across global markets.
  • Deliver actionable insights that improve campaign performance and support strategic planning decisions.
  • Partner with the Accenture Marketing Hub to enhance reporting, dashboards and analytics capabilities.
  • Lead global insight programmes including Brand Health and Customer Heartbeat research.
  • Drive competitor benchmarking, market intelligence and consumer insight to support commercial growth.
  • Coach and influence marketing teams to build a stronger data-driven culture across the organisation.

Tenured experience in marketing effectiveness, marketing analytics, econometrics or related fields within a complex global or matrixed organisation. Deep expertise in Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI), measurement frameworks and marketing performance analysis. Strong understanding of marketing planning, business performance, customer metrics and data-driven decision making within large-scale marketing environments.

Experience developing critical metric frameworks, performance reporting and measurement approaches that support strategic planning and investment decisions. Strong analytical, problem-solving and project leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior customers across both technical and commercial teams. Experience running qualitative and quantitative market research and insight programmes.
