Job Description:
Our purpose is to deliver energy to the world, today and tomorrow. For over 100 years, bp has focused on discovering, developing, and producing oil and gas in the nations where we operate. We are one of the few companies globally that can provide governments and customers with an integrated energy offering. Delivering our strategy sustainably is fundamental to achieving our ambition to be a net zero company by 2050 or sooner.
The Control & Assurance (C&A) team is bps second line of defence. It is ultimately accountable for ensuring compliance with external requirements and assurance over BPs internal control frameworks. Within this team, we have a sub-team that focuses on:

ESG reporting is wide ranging and a rapidly evolving landscape. Legislation in multiple jurisdictions will increase the control and assurance requirements over mandatory disclosures.

Provide valuable input into the design of ESG-NFR policies and procedures to facilitate redesign of assurance activities.
-
Support the annual external assurance of selected ESG-NFR metrics
-
Work with cross-functional partners as we design our future-ready framework.
