We are seeking a BOD Lead to support our mission of driving growth in our Lubricants business by strengthening customer relationships and delivering value-added solutions. This role will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Technical, Operations, and R&T functions. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience working directly with customers, demonstrates strong commercial acumen, and has a proven ability to develop compelling propositions that drive long-term business growth.
In this role you will:
- Lead end-to-end development of offers and solutions for major accounts or key customers, aligned with strategic direction set by Global/Segment/Area management.
- Coordinate with Segment Marketing to ensure consistency between global and local offers and solution approaches.
- Work with local teams on offer communication plans and support with implementation.
- Support with analytics and insights required to develop effective offers and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, developing deep understanding of customer needs and seeing opportunities for mutual benefit.
- Build credibility as trusted advisor to customers, including sharing of expertise and technology.
- Identify areas where we can differentiate ourselves vs competitors through unique offers, products or services.
- Ensure all communications to internal and external audiences are clear, concise and consistent with Castrol’s brand guidelines.
What You will need to be successful:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or science field.
- Proven track record of successful account management, preferably with technical / complex sales.
- Strong experience in presenting to C-level executives.
- Experience in project leadership, ideally leading cross-functional projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- Proven ability to form relationships with senior leaders in customers organizations.
- Ability to identify emerging trends and opportunities within assigned territory or segment.
- Strong negotiation planning and preparation skills.
- Highly developed collaboration skills, particularly in matrix organizations.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Experienced working with CRM systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with digital tools such as Google Suite, LinkedIn, etc.
