Are you an undergraduate student eager to bring your unique perspective to STEM roles within the energy sector? bp invites you to our Future Leaders Black Heritage in STEM discovery week—an immersive experience where you'll connect with industry leaders, explore our innovative strategies, and fast track your way to a technical interview for a summer internship (commencing June 2027, eligibility criteria will apply). This programme is designed to empower the next generation of STEM leaders from black heritage backgrounds. What To Expect

  • Career Advancement: Participation at the Future Leaders Black Heritage in STEM week offers a fast-track opportunity to technical interviews for our STEM internship programmes for the following year (eligibility criteria apply).

Please note, some opportunities may be subject to additional testing to determine eligibility.

Eligibility

This programme is open to first year (or second year if studying a four-year course) undergraduate students who are passionate about STEM and learning more about opportunities to be part of the energy industry of the future. Your normal place of residence is within the UK.

Location

This opportunity will take place at the following UK office: bp Sunbury-ICBT (International Centre for Business & Technology), Chertsey Road, Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex, TW16 7LN.

7th-10th July 2026
