About the Role

As a Sales Development Manager, you’ll take full ownership of free trade accounts within a defined territory. Your primary focus will be driving sales growth and profitability by executing our commercial strategy across both existing and new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver volume and profit targets across a range of own-brand products
  • Manage territory planning and maintain strong customer account relationships
  • Proactively prospect for new business to meet growth targets
  • Maximise product sales within existing accounts to achieve commercial goals
  • Leverage sales promotions and marketing materials to drive demand
  • Build lasting relationships with customers to foster loyalty and account growth
  • Sell in investments to secure and develop long-term trading partnerships
  • Represent our brand portfolio with professionalism and enthusiasm

Key Stakeholders

  • External: Business owners, account stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Internal: Sales, Marketing, Cellar Services, and Distribution teams

About You

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in sales, within an on-trade environment
  • Strong account management and new business development experience
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Confident working with data – Excel and PowerPoint proficiency desirable
  • Structured and reliable approach to sales planning
