We are currently looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Wills, Trusts & Probate/Private Client Solicitor to join our well-regarded and friendly team based in Reading. You will manage a full caseload with an initial focus on probate, while also advising on wills, trusts, LPAs and broader estate planning matters. There is also the opportunity to work closely with a partner on complex tax and estate planning for High-Net-Worth individuals. Prior experience in these areas, or a genuine interest in developing expertise, would be a distinct advantage.

We currently operate a hybrid working pattern. The successful candidate will be expected to attend our Reading office 2 to 3 days per week, with the remainder of the week worked remotely.

Experience/Attributes required:
  • 2–5 years’ experience in Wills, Probate and broader Private Client work
  • Confident managing a full probate caseload independently
  • Experience or interest in tax, trust and estate planning matters
  • STEP qualified or working towards STEP qualification
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with case management or workflow systems
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and process-driven approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commercially aware and proactive, with a genuine interest in business development and supporting the growth of the team

  • Probate and estate administration (full caseload)
