Our Employment Team is recognised for its practical, commercially-focused support for clients across a range of sectors. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team in a dual Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) and Training role. This is an excellent opportunity to blend technical legal expertise with business development and client engagement. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and advancing our team’s knowledge base, ensuring our clients and colleagues benefit from cutting-edge advice and training in employment law.

Work type- Manage and maintain Employment Team Knowledge Library and Precedents.
- Stay up to date with legal developments and best practices, ensuring the team’s knowledge library and documents are current and comprehensive.
- Regularly review the need for new or updated documents.
- Identify gaps in the team’s precedents, propose new ones as needed, and take the lead in creating them.
- Monitor legal developments in employment law and update and train the team regularly.
- Co-ordinate internal team training and organise training sessions with external providers and highlight practice points and knowledge to ensure consistency of advice.
- Conduct legal research as required.
- Co-ordinate client training, devise training courses and produce training materials for bespoke client training including notes for presenters on employment law matters.
- Present training for clients and targets and devise and conduct public training courses as required.
- In conjunction with the Partners, develop sales strategy for training products for the Employment Team.
- Actively identify opportunities to sell training products and proactively anticipate and devise appropriate new training courses based on new legislation/opportunities.
- In conjunction with the Partners, co-ordinate the webinar program and prepare and host webinars/podcasts and materials, including presenting webinars and in person events on employment law issues.
- Prepare and co-ordinate online newsletters for the Employment Team and other publications including PR opportunities.
- Continue to develop relationships and run webinars and events with accountants and other referrers.
- Prepare quarterly update as required for clients and prospects on employment law.
- Horizon scan and update team on matters relevant to sectors in which clients operate.

- Drive regular LinkedIn activity, inspiring and supporting others to share content and engage.
- Seek to broaden network and client base, training clients and webinar attendees.
- Encourage and support team to engage with BD strategy and provide suggestions on networking events, internal and external.
- Work with marketing to co-ordinate support and meet team development needs.
- Assist with updating website copy when required.
- To work effectively on your own and in a team.
- To work in excess of normal working hours where it proves necessary, in the interests of the Firm or those of our clients.
