The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join our reputable and growing team as an Associate or Senior Associate, depending on experience. This is a key role for someone looking to progress their career within a supportive and ambitious team, aligned with the wider firm’s strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining and building on the department’s excellent reputation for client service, while taking on an established caseload and playing a role in developing new client and referrer relationships as the team continues to expand its presence beyond the Thames Valley.

You will be joining a team of 5 fee earners and 6 paralegals who work both independently and collaboratively. There is a strong opportunity to take on existing client relationships and help shape the future of the department.

Experience/Attributes required:
  • Ideally 3–8 years PQE in residential property
  • Experience handling high net worth and/or complex transactions
  • Strong technical legal knowledge with a pragmatic and problem-solving approach
  • Proven ability to manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload
  • Previous experience supervising junior team members and contributing to their development
  • Confidence with technology and modern working systems
  • Interest in the financial and strategic direction of the team and wider firm
  • Prior business development and networking experience desirable
Work type:
  • Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, high-value transactions, complex matters, re-financing, new build purchases, and transfers of equity
  • Taking on existing client and referrer relationships with a view to developing your own network over time
  • Providing clear, strategic legal guidance and delivering exceptional client care
  • Supporting the growth and innovation of the team through proactive involvement in business development initiatives, including networking events and relationship building
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share knowledge and support one another, while being able to work independently
  • Supervising and supporting junior fee earners and assisting with training within the team
  • Contributing to team goals and aligning with the firm’s overall strategy and objectives
