Working pattern

Ideally 3 days per week

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a business change project, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, budget, quality and timelines.

The project will consolidate client, contact and matter reference data into a single trusted source, introduce automated regulatory compliance checks into client onboarding, and coordinate data migration, systems integration and business change across multiple functions.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, PMP or equivalent.
  • Proven experience delivering medium-to-large IT projects across the full project lifecycle.
  • Strong experience in project planning, budgeting, governance, risk, change and assurance.
  • Experience managing vendors, implementation partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with Waterfall, Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data migration, systems integration or business change projects.
  • Good understanding of data protection principles, including UK GDPR and DPIA requirements.
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure Dev Ops or equivalent.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel, Power Point, Teams and Share Point.
  • Understanding of systems integration, digital transformation and core business applications such as CRM, case/practice management and document management systems.
  • Experience with master/reference data, MDM, CRM or case management integration, client onboarding or compliance automation.
  • Experience in regulated or professional services environments, particularly where data accuracy and compliance are critical.
  • Experience managing multi-vendor or geographically distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project delivery from mobilisation and discovery through design, build, data migration, testing, training, go-live and hypercare.
  • Develop and manage project plans, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, resources and budgets.
  • Own project RAID, risk, issue and change control, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation.
  • Establish and maintain effective project governance, including Steering Group/Board reporting, stage-gate reviews and decision-making forums.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, Finance, Compliance, Business Development and Operations.
  • Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners, ensuring delivery against agreed SLAs, milestones and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee data migration, systems integration, quality assurance and go-live readiness.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, executive reporting and project documentation.
  • Coordinate phased cutover and rollout to minimise business disruption.
  • Work with Compliance and the DPO to address data protection, DPIA and data-minimisation requirements.
  • Track benefits realisation and ensure the project delivers its intended business outcomes.
