We are looking for a highly organised HR Administrator to join our friendly and collaborative team. This varied role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of HR activities, from training and employee onboarding to HR systems and firmwide initiatives. If you have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team, this is a great opportunity to play a key role in supporting our people and the smooth running of the firm.
Experience/Attributes required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact with colleagues across the firm
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Work type:
- Training and development administration, including booking courses and events, arranging payments and maintaining accurate training records.
- Managing professional memberships, including processing renewal invoices and maintaining membership records.
- Maintaining and updating the People First HR system, including posting HR updates, recording employee changes and monitoring sickness absence records.
- Supporting holiday administration by monitoring outstanding requests, following up with employees where required and maintaining accurate holiday records, including annual updates to part-time entitlements, pro-rated bank holidays and office closure days.
- New starter administration, including adding employee details to the HR system and requesting references from previous employers and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
- Supporting the holiday booking process by responding to queries, administering unpaid leave requests and updating payroll information provided to the finance team.
- Coordinating long service awards, including maintaining records, producing an annual report and arranging vouchers throughout the year.
- Managing work experience placements by responding to enquiries and coordinating the firm’s programme.
- Providing general HR and firmwide support, including organising e-gift cards for life events such as weddings, maternity leave and retirement.
- Supporting internal initiatives and events by assisting the Social Committee, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team and Charity Committee where required.
- Creating and updating HR templates, forms and internal communications using tools such as Canva.
