About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Executive to join our busy litigation department. You’ll play a key role in supporting our solicitors, managing files, and ensuring the smooth running of our litigation caseload.

What You’ll Do

  • Draft court proceedings and prepare court bundles
  • Manage diaries and coordinate schedules
  • Answer and direct telephone calls, handling queries and messages professionally
  • Assist solicitors with file management and administrative duties
  • Review discovery and medical records
  • Transcribe from digital dictation
  • Instruct counsel as required
  • Open and close files, and manage incoming/outgoing post
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider business
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 years’ experience in a litigation support role (legal executive, paralegal, or secretary)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, approachable, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (desirable)
