About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Legal Executive to join our busy litigation department. You’ll play a key role in supporting our solicitors, managing files, and ensuring the smooth running of our litigation caseload.
What You’ll Do
- Draft court proceedings and prepare court bundles
- Manage diaries and coordinate schedules
- Answer and direct telephone calls, handling queries and messages professionally
- Assist solicitors with file management and administrative duties
- Review discovery and medical records
- Transcribe from digital dictation
- Instruct counsel as required
- Open and close files, and manage incoming/outgoing post
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider business
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 years’ experience in a litigation support role (legal executive, paralegal, or secretary)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
- Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, approachable, and able to maintain confidentiality
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (desirable)
