About the Role
Boyd Recruitment are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Site Manager to join our clients team and take a lead role in the delivery of wind farm projects across Ayrshire. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on large-scale renewable energy infrastructure projects, managing site operations from start to finish while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations on wind farm civil engineering projects
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise site activities, subcontractors, and plant
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification
- Implement and monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures
- Liaise with clients, engineers, local authorities, and internal project teams
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates
- Identify and manage risks, resolving site issues efficiently and professionally
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering projects, ideally within the renewable energy or wind farm sector
- Strong background in earthworks, foundations, access roads, drainage, and concrete works
- SMSTS and CSCS qualifications are essential
- First Aid qualification desirable
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple site priorities
- Full UK driving licence
