Boyd Recruitment is seeking a Contract Site Engineer to join our client’s team based in Edinburgh and the Lothians, East Central Scotland. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in civil engineering contracting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage site operations in accordance with project specifications and health and safety regulations.
- Conduct setting out and survey work to ensure precise positioning of structures and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth progress and completion of tasks.
- Monitor progress and quality control, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards.
- Assist in problem-solving and providing technical solutions on site.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in Site / Setting Out engineering within civil engineering contracting projects.
- Strong knowledge of site safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or related field.
