Boyd Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our client on a major Substation project in Ayrshire. This is a key leadership role overseeing the delivery of civil enabling works, including access roads, foundations, drainage, and associated infrastructure, supporting a high-profile energy project.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of works packages
- Managing programme, budget, quality, and HSEQ performance
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and designers
- Managing risk, change control, and reporting
- Supporting planning and mobilisation of works in remote locations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering or infrastructure
- SPEN COMP – beneficial but not required – we can assist in obtaining
- Background in enabling works, utilities, power, renewables, or highways preferred
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and relevant qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
