Boyd Recruitment are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and deliver cutting-edge Solar and EV charging infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a permanent position, ideal for a proactive professional with a background in electrical construction and a passion for sustainable energy.
Location: UK Wide (accommodation and travel provided), based in Glasgow
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of EV charging projects – from planning and procurement to installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Manage site HSE compliance, quality control, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with DNO.
- Provide leadership to site teams and ensure alignment with project goals and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing electrical infrastructure or EV charging projects.
- Must come from an Electrical background.
- Strong knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations and NICEIC standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and site drawings.
- Excellent project coordination and communication skills.
- ECS / CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent certification (preferred).
