Boyd Recruitment are currently working alongside an Electrical Contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Supervisor to be based on projects in Edinburgh City Centre. Our client is well-reputed within the Scottish construction industry and is recruiting for a key area of their business.

The candidate should have experience on commercial projects such as hotels, schools, office blocks, care homes, etc.

Pay Rate / Shift Details:

  • £28 - £30 per hour (CIS)
  • £24.50 - £26.00 (PAYE)
  • 37.5 hours per week plus overtime
  • Overtime rates to be discussed
  • Pay rate will depend on experience

Overview:

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day electrical installations on a commercial project.

Duties include:

  • Site Inductions and issuing permits
  • Leading teams of Electricians
  • Managing and implementing Health and Safety procedures
  • Reporting on progress and liaising with Main Contractor
  • Attending site meetings and conducting toolbox talks
  • Responsible for all paperwork and handover

The Candidate:

The Successful Electrical Supervisor will have:

  • On-site delivery experience as an Electrical Foreman/Supervisor
  • SSSTS Certificate
  • Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of Electrical systems and their installation methods
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workloads
  • Commercial experience
