Boyd Recruitment Ltd is currently partnering with a reputable specialist contractor operating within the cladding and steel erecting sectors based in Lanarkshire, West Central Scotland, to recruit a Contracts Manager on a permanent basis.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractual activities, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company's operational goals. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to contribute to a dynamic team within a company that prides itself on quality and efficiency.
This role would suit either:
- An experienced Contracts Manager from a cladding or steel erecting background, or
- A driven individual with strong technical knowledge and limited management experience who is looking for a genuine opportunity to grow into a senior role.
The Role:
- Oversee multiple projects from pre-start through to completion
- Manage programmes, budgets, and subcontractors
- Liaise with clients, site teams, suppliers, and designers
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Support commercial and contractual matters
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes
About You:
- Background in cladding systems and/or steel erecting is essential
- Strong understanding of site operations and construction sequencing
- Previous contracts/site management experience preferred but not essential
- Ambitious, organised, and keen to develop your career
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- SMSTS and relevant construction qualifications desirable
