Boyd Recruitment are seeking a Civil Engineering Site Engineer to join our clients dynamic team based at Edinburgh Airport. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a motivated and skilled professional looking to work on a variety of civil engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.

As a Site Engineer your role will include:

  • Ensuring all setting out is accurate.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations on construction sites.
  • Ensure the project adheres to all engineering specifications, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Conduct site surveys, inspections, and assessments.
  • Assist with the preparation of site reports and documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site staff.
  • Monitor the progress of the project and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

You will have:

  • Qualified to Degree/HND Civil Engineering preferred.
  • CSCS card scheme to management level.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS required.
  • Knowledge of various surveying equipment is desirable.
  • CAD Knowledge and knowledge of ground modelling is desirable.
  • Communication skills.
