Responsibilities

  • Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance as prescribed or assigned.
  • Install, repair, and perform periodic maintenance to sprinkler and irrigation systems.
  • Safely and effectively operate lawn mower, weed trimmer, edger, chainsaw, power trimmer, and other equipment used in lawn and ground maintenance.
  • Safely and properly apply chemicals including but not limited to fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
  • Plant grass, trees, flowers, and shrubs using gardening tools.
  • Maintain driveways, parking lots, and walkways by removing debris, litter, snow, and/or ice.
  • Assist with basic maintenance to equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • One (1) year of prior experience as a landscaper or groundskeeper preferred.
  • Must possess basic knowledge of necessary equipment and the appropriate safety standards.
  • Must be able to perform duties in direct exposure to the weather which may include periods of extreme heat, cold, or inclement weather.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certificates and/or license including a driver's license.
  • Must have a clear driving record.
