Job Description:
The post holder will be responsible for the following duties:
- Loading and operation of milling and turning machines to produce precision components.
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings to allow inspection of parts against specification.
- Use of precision measuring equipment to inspect and check all parts conform to specification.
- Deburr and finish machined parts as required using suitable equipment.
- Completion of job-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards.
- Ensure a high standard of housekeeping and Health and Safety is maintained at all times.
- Perform routine daily maintenance tasks.
- Work under minimal supervision.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Must be flexible to meet company demands throughout the year.
- Any other reasonable duties as required by Production / Operations Manager.
