We’re looking for a confident and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our busy small animal practice in Clydebank. If you’re passionate about all aspects of nursing and eager to advance your skills in a supportive environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

You’ll have a varied and rewarding caseload, including admitting surgical patients, monitoring anaesthesia, providing post-operative care, conducting nursing consultations, performing lab work, and assisting with diagnostic imaging-including dental x-rays.

About our practice

We are a well-established, welcoming small animal practice based in Clydebank, just west of Glasgow. Since moving into our refurbished premises in January 2019, we’ve been proud to offer a modern and comfortable working environment. Conveniently located only 30 minutes from both Glasgow and Loch Lomond, with excellent public transport links, our practice provides an ideal balance between work and lifestyle.

Our fully equipped facility features two operating theatres, five consultation rooms, separate wards for cats and dogs, ultrasonography, digital X-ray enhanced with Signal Pet AI, and in-house lab.

Meet our team

Become part of a friendly, close-knit team that includes 8 vets, 3 nurses, 1 head nurse, an animal care assistant, and 5 receptionists. We place great value on teamwork and regularly come together for team-building activities and social events. Our team is passionate about giving back, actively fundraising for charities like Flutterby (Cystic Fibrosis) through annual cycling challenges, participating in the Doddie Weir Walk, supporting Street Vet, and organising Christmas collections for homeless shelters.

We’re proud of our low staff turnover and the warm, experienced atmosphere we’ve cultivated. Our Clinical Directors are highly supportive of vets, nurses, and support staff alike, recognising and appreciating the vital role each person plays in the success of the team and practice.

Flexible Hours

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours over 4 or 5 days per week. There will be 1 in 4 Saturday mornings and no out of hours.
