We are now growing the Commercial division with the recruitment of a high-performing Commercial Director to play a key role in driving this next phase of growth.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the new Chief Revenue Officer (recruitment in progress), the Commercial Director will be responsible for delivering strong commercial outcomes across BOXXER’s core revenue streams including partnerships, licensing, digital media and ticketing. This is a senior operational role that blends strategic planning with hands-on execution and driving measurable revenue growth.
Working with the Head of Partnerships and other commercial leads, the Commercial Director will play a critical role in creating new partnerships and maximising revenue streams to power BOXXER’s commercial engine.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Revenue delivery and commercial performance.
- Partnerships and sponsorship management.
- Ticketing, events and fan revenue.
- Digital monetisation and licensing.
- Team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 10+ years’ experience in a senior commercial role in sport, entertainment, media or consumer brands.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets through strategic planning and hands-on delivery.
- Deep understanding of sponsorship sales, media rights, licensing and ticketing models.
- Experience managing commercial teams and fostering high-performance cultures.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into executable plans and quantifiable outcomes.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with senior stakeholders, brands, agencies and rights holders.Data-driven mindset with comfort in forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis.
- Passion for live sport, sports culture and youth engagement.
PREFFERED:
- Located a commutable distance to BOXXER's St Pancras HQ and the ability to work a minimum three days per week from the office.
