The Logistics & Inventory Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end logistics and inventory operations across UK, international, and third-party warehouse locations. This role ensures compliant, efficient, and scalable movement of IT hardware, maintains accurate and auditable stock records, and drives continuous improvement across the supply chain. You will play a key role in product availability, fulfilment performance, understanding regulatory/trade compliance and supporting the business as it grows its international trading capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting, build and produce regular reporting packs for logistics and inventory. Highlighting performance, volumes, and customer experience.
- Educate our sales teams on the logistics and inventory offerings that we can provide to maximise opportunities and enhance our customer’s experience.
- Ensure full compliance with UK & international trade regulations, including export controls, customs documentation, packaging, Incoterms, HMRC requirements, vendor, and destination specific rules.
- Evaluate current courier providers against cost, performance, and customer service metrics to ensure they continue to represent best value for money and experience.
- Manage inventory levels against customer requirements and aged stock.
- Help and support our sellers when it comes to specific customer requirements to ensure we are demonstrating and proving the best possible service and expertise.
- Support with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial and trade requirements.
- Proven experience in logistics and inventory management ideally within an IT reseller, technology distributor, or hardware focused environment.
- Experience managing inventory across multiple locations, including third-party and international warehouses.
- Demonstrated people management experience within logistics, warehouse, compliance, and inventory teams.
- Strong knowledge of UK export regulations and international shipping requirements.
- Experience and knowledge of courier and logistics tools to help book and manage deliveries through their online portals, as well as, helping to create and develop direct links that link directly into our ERP.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP/WMS systems (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to use government and authoritative sources to stay current with customs, trade, and regulatory changes.
- Confident communicator with experience managing external partners and service providers.
- Strong organisational skills, analytical mindset and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
