As a Buyer, you will contribute to the overall success of the Procurement team by partnering closely with other areas of the business, including Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Customer Service, to ensure adherence to internal controls and deliver value to boxxe.

What you'll be doing

Purchase goods or services, ensuring that the company operational needs are met.

Identify and manage risks, taking into account price, quality, and delivery targets.

  • Negotiate whenever possible to maximise margins and secure the best available pricing.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular reviews and meetings, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered.
  • Validate quotes and bids, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure purchases are made through preferred suppliers.
  • Support Sales and customers on deals to enhance the customer experience, demonstrating the value you bring to the business.
  • Identify process issues or areas of concern and make appropriate recommendations for innovative solutions.
  • Ensure all systems are accurately updated with purchase order information and communicate relevant updates or changes to the appropriate areas of the business.
  • Ensure compliance with boxxe purchasing policies, guidelines, and the Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • Stay up to date with market developments and any changes that may impact products or services.
  • Develop your knowledge and expertise within a specialised product area.

Previous experience in a procurement role within the Technology Industry.

  • Strong time management skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for working with numbers.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • The ability to work to deadlines and thrive in a busy environment.
  • A collaborative team player with the drive to achieve success both individually and as part of a team.
