The Company: For 13 years we have been offering our famous EAT.DRINK.PLAY experience with unrivalled street food, bars, shops and entertainment all under one roof. We are growing quickly with new sites planned for Bristol and London, so we are delighted to expand our team. Join the thrilling ride at BOXPARK if you’re ready for a challenge.

The Role: As a Senior Multi Trader at Boxpark, you aren’t just fixing things—you are the guardian of our physical guest experience. You will move across our various London locations via our excellent public transport network, ensuring our shipping-container hubs remain safe, functional, and visually impressive. This is a high-energy, hands-on role for a "master of all trades" who thrives on variety. You will be the bridge between technical problems and practical solutions, representing the Boxpark brand to our tenants, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Multi-Site Maintenance: Lead the planned and reactive maintenance across our London portfolio, specializing in a mix of plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and general "make-good" repairs.
  • Expert Problem Solving: Act as the first responder for site emergencies. You’ll need to think on your feet to find safe, cost-effective, and long-term solutions to complex structural or mechanical issues.
  • The "Technical Translator": Communicate clearly with Site Managers and Head Office. You must be able to explain technical faults and repair timelines to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Vendor Coordination: When a job requires a specialist (e.g., Gas Safe or complex HVAC), you will oversee their work to ensure it meets Boxpark's high standards.
  • Customer Excellence: Act as a professional face of the business. You’ll be working in public-facing environments and inside tenant units; a friendly, helpful, and "can-do" attitude is essential.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Multi-Trade Specialist: You have a broad background in facilities maintenance or construction. You’re as comfortable fixing a leak as you are repairing a door frame or troubleshooting a lighting circuit.
  • London-Mobile: You are comfortable and efficient at traveling between various London sites using public transport.
  • Strong Communicator: You possess the "soft skills" to manage expectations. You can stay calm and professional even when a site is busy or under pressure.
  • Self-Starter: You don’t wait to be told what to do. You spot a loose floorboard or a flickering light and fix it before it becomes a complaint.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Health cash plan in the form of SimplyHealth which provides cash back on dental, optical, prescriptions, online GP and 24/7 counselling.
  • Wellbeing champions in all venues and they are all trained Mental Health First Aiders.
  • Discretionary annual bonus scheme.
  • Wagestream - Financial planning tool which allows access to your earned wages whenever you need.
  • Access to our Cycle to Work scheme to buy a tax-free bicycle, equipment, or both.
  • All guest tips go straight to our teams.
  • 50% off drinks.
  • We offer a generous 25 days (plus bank holidays) which rises after one year up to 30 days.
  • We offer a holiday purchase scheme which allows you to purchase an additional 5 days annual leave each year.
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave.
  • 2 days paid carers leave per year to help you be there when your dependants need you.
