The role: We currently have Bar Manager roles in a number of our London sites to support the General and Assistant General Manager in running the team in order to maintain a successful profitable business. The ideal candidate will have proven high volume bar management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating the bars throughout the site
- Delivering budgeted top line sales and ensuring that this is converted into profit through tight stock control
- Managing a team whilst driving engagement and personal development
- Working with the site management team to execute safe and profitable large-scale event days
- Work within the company budgets relating to drinks, labour & consumables, to provide the standard of service and guest experience required.
- Manage all aspects of the bar service within the premises in order to anticipate and exceed guest expectations, spearhead initiatives, incentives and bonuses tailored to maximise the guest experience.
The Ideal Candidate for this role:
- A proven track record in managing a high volume, large turnover bar operation
- Confident, articulate and highly-motivated
- Well-trained with a good understanding of H&S and due diligence
- Honest, reliable and hard-working
- A high level of personal integrity
- Passionate and proactive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong people skills
- Able to build strong working relationships with team members and tenants
- An understanding of event production and marketing
- Organised with high attention to detail
- Hold a personal licence
- Have an in depth knowledge of stock taking and epos system
