Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for guests in an efficient and timely fashion
- Providing a friendly, welcome and unique guest experience
- Assessing guest’s needs and preferences and making recommendations using excellent product knowledge
- Making useful upsell recommendations where applicable
- Keep the bar and floor presentable and clean to the highest standard
- Operate challenge 25 policy to ensure safe service of alcohol
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- All wastage to be recorded on the spot and reported to supervisor
- Pouring standards to be adhered to always and regular pour tests completed
- Always maintain a clean and tidy bar top and back bar
- Take responsibility for tasks assigned by management and communicate any issues to supervisors/managers
Key Skills & Experience:
- In depth understanding of all products and how to prepare them
- Knowledge of licensing objectives and Challenge 25
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organised, stocked and clean
- Punctual and reliable
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to work well within the team to achieve brand and sales objectives
