Key Responsibilities
- Preparing alcoholic or non‑alcoholic beverages for guests in an efficient and timely fashion
- Providing a friendly, welcome and unique guest experience
- Assessing guest’s needs and preferences and making recommendations using excellent product knowledge
- Making useful upsell recommendations where applicable
- Keeping the bar and floor presentable and clean to the highest standard
- Operating challenge 25 policy to ensure safe service of alcohol
- Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
- Staying guest focused and nurturing an excellent guest experience
- Complying with all food and beverage regulations
- Recording all wastage on the spot and reporting to supervisor
- Adhering to pouring standards and conducting regular pour tests
- Maintaining a clean and tidy bar top and back bar
- Taking responsibility for tasks assigned by management and communicating any issues to supervisors/managers

- In depth understanding of all products and how to prepare them
- Knowledge of licensing objectives and Challenge 25
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organised, stocked and clean
