Main Purpose: To set, operate and be responsible for Bobst Autoplaten Die Cutter to meet customer requirements.
Main Duties:
- Set the machine in accordance with the instructions on the work card.
- Select the die and ensure it is checked for condition of cutting and creasing rules.
- Check perforation rules and ensure they are not too weak.
- Check work card to ensure the correct die is used and if apertures or windows are required in job.
- Ensure quality procedures are followed.
- Ensure machines are ticketed correctly in accordance with procedures.
- While the machine is continually running monitor the quality of the cut sheet e.g. for cleanness of cut, correct scoring, perforations and ease of breaking out.
- Complete the work card after job is completed.
Essential Criteria:
- At least three years experience as an operator of a Bobst die cutting machine.
- Ability to work shifts and overtime when required.
