This is a highly visible position that requires extensive interaction with senior leaders and staff members across Sales, Technical Accounting, Order Management, Billing & Legal. In this cross-functional role, you will report directly into the EMEA Sales Operations Director and dotted-line into the Global Desk Desk organization. We are looking for a driven, hands-on individual with a strong technical grounding in the Salesforce platform, who is able to use a mix of business acumen, critical thinking and stakeholder management to support the Sales organization with executing high value deals.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the Deal Desk queue for the EMEA business, prioritising inbound requests accordingly
- Assist the Sales team with quote generation, pricing/discounting requests and custom contract support
- Enable our Sales organisation on deal operations best practices and corporate policies
- Act as the data steward on behalf of our field Sales teams, ensuring accurate opportunity records
- Govern our approval workflows and delegation configuration
- Perform ad-hoc analysis in support of the Sales or broader GTM Operations organisation
- Coordinate and lead deal reviews among supporting internal functions (Technical Accounting, Order Management, Billing & Legal)
- Participate in weekly forecasting & quarter-end closing calls
- Partner with the Enterprise Systems team on quote-to-cash tooling improvements
- According to business need, grow and manage the EMEA Deal Desk team (1 new hire required in 2025)
Who You Are:
- 3-4 years of deal desk experience, B2B SaaS experience preferred
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS deal structuring, such as Enterprise License Agreements (ELAs)
- Salesforce and Apttus experience required, admin experience a plus
- Proven ability to build strong, cross-functional working relationships with Sales and internal stakeholders
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize effectively
- Basic knowledge of BI tools a plus (e.g. Tableau, Excel)
- People management experience preferred, or appetite to become a people manager
- Strong business acumen and problem solving ability
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- BA/BS degree in Operations, Finance, Business or Economics
