Position Overview
PRIFF is looking for a proactive and creative Marketing & Outreach Coordinator to help expand PRIFF’s visibility and industry reach. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys research, networking, and finding new opportunities to promote creative projects. You will play a key role in identifying platforms, partnerships, and media opportunities that elevate the festival’s profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Promotion & Growth
- Research and identify new ways to promote PRIFF (online and offline).
- Find relevant platforms such as film communities, Facebook groups, newsletters, and forums.
- Suggest and test new marketing ideas to increase submissions and audience engagement.
- Research magazines, blogs, podcasts, and platforms covering film and culture.
- Identify opportunities for features, interviews, and festival coverage.
- Reach out to journalists, bloggers, and media outlets.
- Assist in securing interviews and press mentions for PRIFF.
- Content & Communication Support
- Support messaging for outreach emails and promotional posts.
- Help tailor communication for different platforms and audiences.
- Occasionally assist with social media direction (ideas, not execution-heavy).
