FrightFest Film Festival takes place from 27 August to 1 September 2026 at Leicester Square, London. From humble beginnings, FrightFest is now the UK’s top horror and genre film festival. Spanning five days of fantasy over the August bank holiday weekend and entertaining thousands of genre fans in the heart of London, FrightFest are looking to recruit a team of dedicated volunteers who are confident and calm under pressure, enthusiastic about delivering a great festival experience, and not fazed by working to a busy schedule in a crowded environment.
You get the chance to gain experience of how an event operates, watch films, and enjoy a friendly, supportive atmosphere. FrightFest offers a paid allowance for a certain number of completed hours.
